October Leftovers in Pockets with Aimee Mertell

Hello, Elle’s Studio friends! It’s Aimee here with you today showing you how I’m using my October kit and add-ons leftovers to create a fun pocket page. Let’s take a look at what I’ve done.

Supplies | October 2022 Kit, Chipboard House StickersCozy Tile Chipboard Stickers, Orange Puffy Alphabet Stickers

I wanted to create a fall-inspired pocket page, which was very easy to do with the October products! I didn’t have much left of my kit and add-ons to work with, so I kept the embellishments to a minimum on my photos and instead opted to create a fun title and journaling tag with the embellishments that remained.

I wanted to make a title using the Cozy Tile Chipboard Stickers but one of the only words left was “story” so I used some Orange Puffy Alphabet Stickers from my stash to make it read, “a fall story,” then embellished with the remaining die cut pieces from the October Kit.

Next, I wanted to get even more of the cute little houses from the Chipboard House Stickers used, so I decided I would fill in the gaps on this lined journaling tag with houses! They were a perfect fit for the spaces and I love how they really tie in the colors of the title card, too!

I had a lot of journaling tags left over for this particular pocket page and not a lot of filler, but that really allowed me to dig deeper into the stories I wanted to tell and get more words onto the page, which I typically have a hard time doing!

I hope you enjoyed walking through this simple and sweet pocket page with me and that it inspires you to create with your kit even if you don’t have a ton of it left! Happy creating!
