Hello Elle’s Studio friends!
We’ve made it to 2021 . . . finally! I am still whittling away at my December 2020 Kit and add-ons. I love that each month’s kit provides tons and tons of creative possibility, and to finish off my 2020 album, I’ve created a sweet layout featuring Mildred Mae.
The Good Cheer Printables and December 2020 Cut Files are the star attraction in today’s spread.

To begin, I used a journaling tag from the December Kit and the Winter Wood Veneers to create the title in the upper-left pocket.
Next, I added journaling to one of the Good Cheer Printables. To get crisp, clean colors with the printable, I like to print them on photo paper. I have found this works best to achieve a brightly-colored print. After printing, I added the Joyful Chipboard Sticker hearts along the top and a Winter Wood Veneer sentiment on the bottom.
The mittens included with the December 2020 Cut Files are one of my favorites! After cutting the mittens on white cardstock, I created a clear pocket filled with gold and white sequin stars from my stash before adhering the two together. Next, I used the Happiness & Cheer Stamp to add a colorful pattern to one side of the mitten that compliments the colors on the journaling tags.
Following the mitten is the photo of Mildred Mae with snow on her nose, which is adorable. I kept this last page simple by using a grey dotted patterned paper from the Summer Fun 6 x 8.5 Inch Paper Stack, a journaling tag behind the photo, and a die cut from the December Kit.
In keeping with the simplicity of the last page, I decided to leave the back side of the mitten white as well.
