Pocket pages are the perfect way to get your autumn stories documented in a quick and beautiful way, and design team member Nathalie Leonelli’s pockets are showing all of her love for the October Kit and add-ons this month. Can you guess what her favorite products might be? Let’s find out!
Hello Elle’s Studio fans! I am here today to share my latest pocket pages featuring the marvelous October 2018 Kit and extras. If you deduct by looking at them that my favorites this month are the shipping tags, the wood veneers and the puffy stickers, you are right!

I had so much fun organizing my spread around those shipping tags and layering them with embellishments. Place them on the edge, tucked under a photo or in the center of a tag for a variety of looks.
The Autumn Shipping Tags can bring attention to your dates, title or journaling. I loved creating contrasts below with colors, but also with textures. With this prominent pocket, I have established the subject/timeframe of my spread. I paired the shipping tag with a Halloween Wood Veneer, stickers from the Autumn Fun Stickers and Puffy Stars and Dots Stickers. I can’t tell you how much I love those two-tone dots! Make sure to grab this new pack which includes a variety of colors!
Looking at the whole spread, you will see that I have a visual triangle with those two-tone dots, but also with the wood veneers. That is a design principal that I use very often (sometimes even without thinking about it). I believe you can never go wrong applying it when embellishing your projects!
I had to include that adorable cat veneer from the Halloween Wood Veneer, and rather than use it for Halloween, I thought outside the box and used it for a brag! I stamped “more of this” from the Thankful Stamp on white cardstock and hand cut it, positioning it like a speech bubble.
Finally, I cannot recommend the Sweater Weather 6″ x 6″ Paper Stack enough! The tag above (and also the one below it on the page) was created with it. It is filled with a mix of perfectly scaled patterns for pockets and color-matching elements. It is a great complement to the kit or by itself!
