Hello everyone! We we’re back with a fun new sketch this week.
Sketch Thursday
Hello everyone! We we’re back with a fun new sketch this week.
Hello, everyone!
We’ve hit a little snag with our server and have to delay the website launch for a couple more days 🙁 I’m so sorry, but I promise it will be worth the wait!
Since we have to wait a little longer, I thought we should show a little sneak peek of what’s to come:
I cannot even put into words how excited we are about this new site – we will let you know as soon as it goes live! Eeek!!
Also, I wanted to thank you guys for all the amazing feedback about the Everyday Storyteller book! It was such a fun thing to be apart of and it makes me so excited to hear how much you guys are enjoying reading it and getting inspired by it! If you haven’t purchased a copy, you can check it out here. There are 32 other contributors and the book itself is has 81 pages!
Hope you are all having a great Wednesday!
I view my Project Life as a combination of photos, words, and momentos that together tell my family’s story any particular week of this year. Each component is equally important and works together to tell our story. The way you use the combination of words/photos/momentos is unlimited. The wonderful thing about Project Life is that it offers the opportunity to simply state “what we did” or go beyond the basics and offer deeper thoughts and glimpses into your life. (and you can switch it up from week to week).
Journaling is my favorite part of Project Life. I have already looked back at Project Life spreads from months ago and remembered stories that have long been forgotten.
Congrats to last week’s winner, Laura Stewart! Please email info@shopellesstudio.com with the following info:

Project Life was created by Becky Higgins as a way to simplify how you document life and preserve memories. Photo pockets used in my Project Life album are created by Becky and can be found here. You can read of all the Elle’s Studio Project Life posts here.
We are jumping up and down with excitement over here – our brand new website is going to be launching this Wednesday, May 9th! We’ve been working with an incredible team since October to bring our vision to life and we are so excited to show you it! Our new site will be much more interactive 🙂 Can’t wait until Wednesday!
In the mean time, we’ve pulled our current site to take care of some things on the back end. So, mark your calendars and check back here on Wednesday to see all the new things that are coming! We will also be celebrating with a HUGE party, and will give you all the details about that on Wednesday, too!

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a great week so far 🙂 It’s a new month and that means we have a new set of goodies in our Monthly Special section of the store. It’s all about color this month! Let’s have some fun with bright, happy items. Scrap what makes you happy or send a card to cheer a friend…
I am so excited to introduce to you our newest team member here at Elle’s Studio, my younger sister, Michelle!
My family has been such a HUGE part of this business. My mom has been helping from the very beginning with packaging tag sets and packing orders for shipping. My dad has helped with all the mechanical aspects, along with packing tons and tons of heavy boxes of paper. And, both of them have offered tremendous emotional support and encouragement, I’m always running to them with questions and for business advice, and they are great with helping me brainstorm new ideas, too! So, you can imagine how excited I am that now my sister is able to join in on the party!
Some fun facts about my sister are:
– Her and her husband(Mike) have been together 10 years, high school sweethearts! And just celebrated their 6th year anniversary.
– Cameron, her son, is 22 months old (this is my favorite little dude that I scrapbook all the time)
– She’s been a cosmetologist for 7 years! (but I’m slowing trying to get her over here at ES full time!)
– Her favorite color is pink and she’s pretty crafty, too!
– Also, in case anyone is wondering… our parents didn’t name us Elle and Michelle, lol! My nickname is Elle, but my real name is Danielle. Pretty sure I’ve mentioned that before, but wanted to mention it again in case there was anyone out there going HUH?!
She will be managing wholesale accounts, and helping me with our new website! There are lots of fun things in store and this is just the beginning! So help us give a big, warm welcome to Michelle!
Thank you all so much for your sweet comments and for stopping by our blog! We have two winners to announce today:
Please email us the following information to claim your prize:

Welcome to the Everyday Storyteller Blog Hop! I am so excited to be apart of this amazing book with 32 other contributors and I want to personally invite you to the launch party on this Friday, May 4th, starting at 8:30 pm CDT. There will be $700 in prizes given away (including some fun stuff from us!) during the party, so this is one you don’t want to miss! You can sign up to be on the VIP list here.
Scrapbooking is such an important part of my life – I love being able to capture memories and special moments on paper that I can treasure forever! I believe that journaling is just as important as the photos on your layouts because the journaling is what tells the story behind the photo. I always try to include key information so that if someone else was reading it and I wasn’t around to explain the story, they would understand what is going on. The best way to make sure your journaling includes this is to run through the “5 W’s List”: Who, what, where, when, why.
Today, each of the contributors is giving away one copy of the book! Just leave a comment here to be entered! We’ll announce the winner first thing tomorrow morning, so make sure you check back to see if you’ve won! Then, we will hopefully see you at the BIG launch party for the book on Friday!
And, don’t forget to keep on hoppin’, this is one amazing list!
