Diana said: I loved Kay’s sketch, it was sort of spring board for me to do my own thing. I followed the general idea of photos and embellishments but added a few more pictures.

Retiring Digitals: Top Picks!

Since we are retiring all our current digitals (in case you missed the big announcement about us closing our JS digital shop, you can read it here) we thought we should highlight some of our favorite items!

We have loved the time spent over at JessicaSprague.com and are so grateful for them! Since we had our website redesigned, we want to bring our digitals back over to our site, so all our items are available in one spot – however, we have no plans to bring back any previously released digitals. Project Life

This week’s Project Life covers the week of July 16- 22… which was the week of CHA!

AND also a weekend getaway with the family.  So basically, ALOT happened this week.

There were many “extras” to add this week which made the layout super fun to create.  At CHA we handed out pins (and pens!) to everyone who came to our booth.  I included these in my Project Life, along with my CHA badge.   I included some memorabilia of our culinary adventures — particularly the fact that we enjoyed our hotel’s Outback Steakhouse *almost* everyday. 🙂

As I mentioned, this week was full with CHA and a mini-vacation with my family.  So, how do I fit it all in you may ask?  I use inserts!!!

I knew I wanted to include photos of some friends we met at CHA, so I made a “layout” on our actual CHA catalogue.   It was the perfect solution because it also included some memorabilia I wanted to keep (the catalogue).

On the back-side of the catalogue I included an 8.5 x 11 layout I made about our weekend getaway to a Holiday themed amusement park.   It was the perfect way to include everything in the layout.

While at CHA our April Designer, Lexi Bridges gave me a pack of samples for the newest October Afternoon lines.  I used both Make it Merry and Midway in this week’s spread, and I have to say, they both look GREAT with the Elle’s Studio Sweet Life collection (which is available 8/27!)  I also had a chance to use the new “Snapshot Detail” stamp (also available 8/27)… this one is fabulous for Project Life!

We are closing our digital shop at Jessica Sprague – 50% off sale this week only!

We are closing our digital shop at jessicasprague.com and retiring all our digitals that are available over there. Because of this, we are having a HUGE sale on all our digi’s items so you can stock up and save!

New products coming Monday, August 27th!


We are SO excited – the pallet of our new tags arrived and the colors are beautiful! We are packing things up as fast as possible and getting our wholesale orders shipped asap. In case you missed the CHA reveals, here are the lines that are being released in this next launch: The Sweet Life, 2013 Calendars, Everyday Tags and more!

All the new items will be in our shop on Monday, August 27th, but you might be able to pick them up at your favorite LSS or online retailer before then! 

And, we are also VERY excited to let you know that we are still printing & packing our tags right here in the USA! Quality is so important to us, so it’s so nice to have everything done here where we can keep our eye on it and support our country, too!

Project Life

This week’s Project Life covers the week of July 9-15th.

This week I really focused on trying new and different ideas in photography.  New angles, new perspectives, new starting points for stories.

Screen shots were a big thing this week— I took a couple screen shots of my twitter page, and also a screen shot of when we were talking with my husband over FaceTime.  Another perspective I captured this week was from inside my car.  Yes, I spend a lot of time here during the week 🙂   I took one photo while going through the car wash, another photo that showed the outside temperature (106!!), and a shot as I was passing through the Chicago toll rides on our way to CHA.   
A few other items I included were notes and gift packaging from my parents cruise to Alaska, photos of the house as we were getting adjusted to our move, and a photo of my kids at VBS (quite possibly their favorite week of the summer).
