Who got what teacher? Who all is in the same class? Where’s the best deals on supplies?  
It’s all a whirl wind of excitement for both the kids as well as the parents!
Don’t forget to capture those Back To School details!

A quick note about our August kit and Saltwater sale

Due to an unexpected problem with our newsletter we have extended the launch day special price of our August kit and our 20% off Saltwater collection sale (with coupon code saltwater) until Monday, August 12th at midnight PST.

Our August kit is here, along with some new inspiration, and more!

It’s an exciting day today and we have a TON of stuff going on!

Our new exclusive kit for August is now in the shop! These kits are limited and once they sale out we will not be restocking! Look for a new kit each month on the 10th, and as a special bonus to celebrate launch day, kits will be on sale for $9.99 for today only, regular price after that will be $11.99. We currently do not have a subscription option, but we are (still) working on this for the future 🙂 Please send us an email to let us know if you are interested in a subscription option – as soon as we can offer one, you’ll be the first person to know! These kits will be able to ship first class: shipping for USA residents will start around $2.00 and go up from there, depending on the weight of what is in your cart. For overseas, it will run about $6+ depending on your location.

Similar to our Project Kits we did a couple years back, and because we’ve had a lot of requests for step-by-step projects to return, we came up with Layout Kits! For $6 you’ll get all the papers and tags you’ll need to complete the layout above, along with step-by-step instructions! All you have to do is gather your photos, glue, scissors (minimal cutting required) and a journaling pen, and you’re set to go! Look for new layout kits now and then – we have lots of fun ideas in store for these in the future!

August kit sneak peek + summer sale!

We are excited to share this sneak peek of our upcoming exclusive kit that will be available on August 10th at 8:00 am PST – we can hardly wait for you to see the entire kit! It’s one of my favorite color schemes for sure!

Project Life

This week’s Project Life covers the week of July 15-31.  
I had such a blast creating this week’s layout that I even included an insert/layout.  This week was all about the joys of summer for my family! 

Since the beginning of 2013 my kids have been ALL about Star Wars.  This happened to be a big Star Wars themed week for us.  Beginning with my daughter requesting “leia buns” every day.

The Cameron alphabet stamp is perfect for stamping titles on journaling cards.

The insert I included is a photo of my son at swimming lessons.  I wanted to highlight all things he has been loving this summer, and this photo was perfect.

I saved one of the lego bags from a recent lego he has been working on.  I just liked the way it looked over the photo, but I wanted to be able to remove it as well, so I ended up adhering it to the top of the photo sleeve with washi.

The “Summer” tag from our May 2013 kit was perfect for this insert.

On the back side of the insert I created a very quick layout highlighting some of the photos I took on our weekend adventure at the Indiana State Museum.   I wanted to include all these photos in the spread, but of course space was an issue– no problem, just highlight them in a layout!

We want to feature your Project Life album!  During the last week of each month we will be featuring a couple Project Life spreads that caught our eye in the Member Gallery.  We will be posting Project Life spreads on our blog tomorrow!   If your spread is featured we will be sending you a $5 gift card to use in our store.   Good Luck!
