It’s Steph with you today, and when I got my hands on this month’s kits and extras, I literally squealed with delight when I saw the new Medium Jane Alphabet Stamps! If you’ve ever read my blog posts or you follow me on social media, you are well aware that the Large Jane Alphabet Stamps are among my most favorite products ever. I didn’t think I could love Jane any more; then these adorable stamps arrived at my door.

This project documents the last bits of summer and tells the story of our participation in this year’s Jeep Week at the beach. The Medium Jane Alphabet Stamps were perfect for helping me to add a big statement to a few of our photos from our beach crawl. I decided that for these 6” x 8” pocket pages, I wanted to add my title outside the pockets by stamping on vellum a popular phrase among Jeep owners.
I used blue ink to go well with the blue sky and water in my photos and stamped the first part of the phrase using the solid alphabet and the second half using the outline alphabet. I love going big with titles and quotes and this turned out exactly as I had in mind. I also love that these alpha stamps are a little smaller in size than the Large Jane Alphabet Stamps because you can fit more words and letters on a smaller size page, like 6” x 8”. It was also helpful when I was stamping out my words because these medium-sized stamps fit perfectly on a nice long acrylic block so I could stamp out entire words or large portions of words at the same time, which made for faster stamping.
I paired my title page with a full size 6” x 8” photo of my husband, Shawn, driving on the beach with our dog Ruby on one side, and two 4” x 6” photos from the morning in pockets on the opposite side. I added a label to each photo from the October 2020 Kit diecuts and the October Labels to hold my journaling.
Here’s a peek at what the completed multi-page layout looks like in my album:
I really love the whole collection of Jane Alphabet Stamps and these two new sets are just perfect for when you want to make a big statement, but you’re working in a smaller size. These would also work really well to stamp out phrases on pocket cards and journaling tags.
