Five on Friday: Double Page FUN with Kat Benjamin

Hello and HAPPY FRIDAY! It’s Kat here to share with you a layout I created recently. I decided I wanted to make a double page layout that documented a first day of Spring nature walk that my daughter and I went on last month. I took a ton of photos, and wanted to try to consolidate them onto a layout. The April kit and add-ons were perfect for this project!

Supplies | Flower Die Cuts, Flower Puffy Stickers, Fuchsia Puffy Alphabet Stickers, The Best Paper Stack, Medium Jane Alphabet Metal Die

I actually created this layout with just five amazing Elle’s products: the Flower Die Cuts, the Flower Puffy Stickers, the Fuchsia Puffy Alphabet Stickers, The Best Paper Stack, and the Medium Jane Alphabet Metal Die.

For the left side page, I decided to print a large 6 x 12 inch photo. I thought my daughter looked so cute with her bucket that she used to collect flowers and other natural treasures. I used the The Best Paper Stack patterned paper to create borders around the sides of the large photo, added a few minimal embellishments from the Flower Die Cuts and Flower Puffy Stickers and then added my large title, created with the Fuchsia Puffy Alphabet Stickers and Medium Jane Alphabet Metal Die using a patterned paper from The Best Paper Stack.

The right side of the page is where I decided to house the majority of my photos from the day. I thought a grid design would be the best way to do this, so I printed off my photos in square formats and sprinkled patterned papers and embellishments between the photos. I wanted to keep my design clean, but still “jazz” it up.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you’re inspired to create something fun this weekend with your April kit and add-ons!
