Hello, friends! This is Melissa with you, and I’m excited to share a new memory planner spread using the awesome new Basic Shapes stamps, availble in both outline and solid. These stamps will be great for creating lists, journaling spots, and highlight spots in your planners!

The first thing I did when creating this spread was to stamp out the quote in the “notes” section on my planner. I really wanted to include this quote in my week’s memories and at first was just going to print out the picture of it, but then I had the idea to stamp it in my planner using the Small Tile Alphabet Stamp. It took a bit of time, but I loved how it turned out!
When I’m working on a planner spread, I usually work one half of the spread at a time. I started on the right hand side (the second half of the week) and began by including my typed journaling tag, which listed some of the music on my playlist. Once I had this in place, I started laying out the other pictures and decided where I wanted my journaling blocks. The new solid Basic Shapes Stamp worked just fantastically to create my journaling blocks. You can see where I stamped the notched block lengthwise next to my two photos and journaled inside it.
I used several of the solid bar-shaped stamps to create journaling blocks on the left hand side of my spread. I then stamped on top of the stamped bar using arrows, hearts, and stars to create layered interest with the icons. I love depth and dimension in my projects, but I don’t like my planner spreads to be bulky. These stamps will work perfectly to create some “layering” on my pages!
Thanks for stopping by! I can’t wait to see how you are using these new stamps on your projects!
