Hey, Elle’s Studio friends! This is Marsha, and I’m excited to share a traveler’s notebook layout using the amazing July 2021 kit and add-ons! For my spread today, I chose to document travel photos from a mountain hike with my husband. The release this month was absolutely perfect for this outdoor adventure layout!
Supplies | July 2021 Kit, Cardstock Die Cut Tags, Adventure Chipboard Stickers, Chipboard Speech Bubble Stickers, Tiny Shapes and Dots Puffy Stickers – Neutrals, The Great Outdoors Wood Veneers, Adventure Paper Stack, Summertime Tabs Stamp, The Great Outdoors Stamp, From Sketch to Finish Vol. 6 Stamp, Nesting Tags Metal Die, Everyday Tabs Metal Die
I began the spread by printing my photos and arranging them on a trimmed ledger patterned paper from the Adventure Paper Stack. I used the awesome new Nesting Tags Metal Die to cut out a variety of tags from the same paper stack. I had fun mixing and matching the patterns and colors for the tags and tag reinforcers! I added these tags, along with a tag from the Cardstock Die Cut Tags to the spread and used them to create layers behind my photos.
Next, I stamped a few tabs using the Summertime Tabs Stamp and cut them out with the Everyday Tabs Metal Die. I added them to the page, lifting the edges for additional texture. Then, I embellished around my photos with the Adventure Chipboard Stickers and neutral Tiny Shapes and Dots Puffy Stickers. I also stamped the word “love” onto one of the tags using the From Sketch to Finish Vol. 6 Stamp and black ink.
For the other side of the spread, I trimmed a piece of white cardstock to use as the background. I created the title using The Great Outdoors Wood Veneers and stamped the word “together” using the From Sketch to Finish Vol. 6 Stamp and black ink. I love the font included in this stamp and just had to use it on my layout! To complete the title area, I stamped a few trees from The Great Outdoors Stamp and dark green ink. I also added stickers from the Chipboard Speech Bubble Stickers, Adventure Chipboard Stickers and a half-circle die cut tag from the July Kit.
To complete the layout, I layered more tags and added them to the bottom of the page. I typed my journaling, trimmed it into strips, and layered it over the tags. I also added another stamped tab and neutral Tiny Shapes and Dots Puffy Stickers to complete the cluster.
I hope you have found some inspiration for using the July 2021 kit and add-ons in your traveler’s notebook! Thanks so much for stopping by today! Happy creating!
