We are so excited to introduce and welcome our May guest to the blog, Michelle Gallant! Head to Michelle’s Instagram feed, and you’ll see a trend: beautiful, colorful projects, and a love of cut files! We are so excited to have Michelle inspire us this month with two different posts using the May 2021 kit and add-ons, and today’s project is swoon-worthy! Let’s take a look at how Michelle showed off her signature style with our newest products!
Hey everyone! It’s Michelle Gallant with you, and I am super excited to be a guest here this month! I am such a fan of Elle’s Studio products. I mean really, have you seen all the bits and pieces in the monthly kits and add-ons? Swoon!!!
I created a layout for my first project by using the fun May Cut Files!
Supplies | May 2021 Kit, May 2021 Cut Files, Smile Cardstock Die Cuts, Love You Chipboard Stickers, Puffy Banners and Border Stickers, Teal Puffy Alphabet Stickers, Acetate Hearts, Good Times Paper Stack
I cut out a bunch of strips from the borders found in the May 2021 Cut Files. I used the blue, green and kraft patterns from the Good Times Paper Stack because they matched so well with my photo. I added them randomly on a white piece of cardstock and stitched then in place for added texture.
These Acetate Hearts were so pretty, I really wanted to add all of them to my layout! Again I used the blues and greens to match the rest of my page. I also loved how the new products from this month paired so perfectly with the awesome Smile Cardstock Die Cuts!
I added my title using the Love You Chipboard Stickers with the Teal Puffy Alphabet Stickers. The die cut borders were topped with Puffy Banners and Border Stickers throughout the layout, creating clusters.
It’s such a simple design, but the colors really make a bold impact!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you’ve been inspired to pull out your May kit and add-ons and download the May Cut Files to create as soon as your new goodies arrive!
Hi everyone! my name is Michelle Gallant and I live in New Brunswick, Canada with my two teenagers and two cats. I started scrapbooking when my kids were little because I had so many photos of them. Little did I know that it would turn into a passion that’s still going strong 15 years later! I don’t have a specific style, it tends to change with my mood. But I do love to use cut files and add lots of bits and pieces to my projects.
Be sure to follow Michelle’s Instagram feed to see what she’s currently creating, and be sure to keep up with our blog to find her second project coming later this month!
