December Mid-Release Pocket Page with Meghann Andrew

Hello! It’s Meghann Andrew with you today, and I’ve been having some fun creating with the brand new products that just hit the shop today!

This release of neutral journaling tags in 4″ x 6″ and 3″ x 4″ sizes, months of the year wood veneers and versatile stamps is perfect for setting up your 2019 pocket page album, or if you’re like me, playing catch-up on 2018! I created a monochromatic 12″ x 12″ pocket page for my 2018 weekly-intensive project using these fun, new supplies:

Supplies | The Week Of 4 x 6 Journaling Tags, On This Day Monthly Journaling Tags, Puffy Heart Stickers – Spring Mix, Christmas Hand Drawn Acrylic Hearts, Noted Stamp, Here and Now Stamp, Mini Dated Stamp, Large Jane Alphabet Stamp – Solid, Noteworthy Epoxy Stickers

I love that the new The Week Of 4 x 6 Journaling Tag introduces the page so well, and to add some color, I stamped “May” using the solid Large Jane Alphabet Stamp, as well as the date using the Mini Dated Stamp. For a wide strip of color, I added a strip of washi at the base of the tag, and embellished with Noteworthy Epoxy Stickers, Puffy Heart Stickers and stamped stars from the Here and Now Stamp.

This filler tag that I created is my favorite on the page! I stamped “this makes me smile” from the Here and Now Stamp over and over again in a pattern using green ink, then one last time in black at the top. I added the light green Christmas Hand Drawn Acrylic Heart to the white space at the top.

The Noted Stamp, full of journaling lines and boxes helped me to create the final tag on my page. I started by topping the 3″ x 4″ plain white cardstock with “notes from today” from the Here and Now Stamp, then added six bubble journaling lines from the Noted Stamp below. I scanned this in to add my journaling in Photoshop, then printed it out on the tag. After my journaling was printed, I stamped a black arrow to point toward the correct day at the top, and added a thin strip of washi tape, to balance the washi at the top of the page.

Whether you need to fill in gaps in your 2018 album, or want to start your 2019 album off right, these new journaling tags, stamps and embellishments are the perfect supplies for your pockets!
