Life Together Using Title Builder Vol. 2 with Susan Brochu

Our Title Builder Vol. 2 products were designed to help you create titles for your paper crafting products, but they can also create a large design feature on a scrapbook layout, as design team member Susan Brochu is so beautifully sharing with us today! Let’s take a look:

Hello everyone! Today I’m sharing a layout featuring the fun and versatile Title Builder Vol. 2 collection.  While this product is mainly intended to help you add a title to your projects, I used it for embellishing and journaling as well!  I knew that I wanted to use the set to make a long title for my page and the first piece that caught my eye was the “life” word from the Title Builder Vol. 2 Wood Veneer. Between the stamps, acrylic and wood veneer words, there were plenty of options to help me arrive at a title to pair with a collection of family photos.

I arranged the words in a vertical line down the center of the cardstock and did my stamping in a few different colored inks to help my title stand out from all the black and white photos. I mixed in the “crazy” acrylic word and two wood veneer words to add a little more life to the title.

You might notice that I stamped just a portion of the Title Builder Vol. 2 Stamp‘s words in my title and I wanted to show you how I did that.  One option would have been to carefully ink only the portion of the stamp that I wanted to use, but honestly, I didn’t trust myself to do that without making a mistake! Instead, I used a piece of washi tape to cover the unwanted portion, inked up my stamp, removed the washi tape and then stamped right onto the cardstock. It worked perfectly!

I also added some of the “sparkles” from the Title Builder Vol. 2 Stamp to embellish my title and, as I mentioned earlier, the title serves as my journaling, too. I sprinkled in a few Noteworthy Puffy Stickers, backed the page on a rainbow-colored patterned paper from the Noteworthy 12″ x 12″ Paper Collection and stitched the branding strip from another Noteworthy paper to the top and bottom of the page to break up all the vertical lines on the layout.

The Title Builder Vol. 2 products include plenty of options to help you add the perfect title to your projects, and you can also use it for embellishing and journaling—I’m looking forward to seeing how you use it!
