We love that in the scrapbooking industry, inspiration is everywhere! From Pinterest boards to Instagram accounts and online courses, it is easy to find beautiful pages and projects created by other scrapbookers that might spark your own project. Today on the blog, Andrea Gray is sharing her summer mini album inspired by another mini created by Meghann Andrew and shared just a few weeks ago here on the blog. Let’s see what she made!
Hey friends, it’s Andrea! I have a super fun summer mini-album to share and it’s completely inspired by the 3″ x 4″ Summer mini-album that Meghann shared on the blog recently.
Supplies | Summer Journaling Tags, Summer Stamp, July 2017 Kit, Summer Puffy Stickers, Everyday Circle Stickers, Cork Tags, Puffy Heart Stickers, Title Builder Stamp, Title Builder Alphabet Stamp
Summer is in full swing and I have accumulated piles of pool photos. I knew I wouldn’t be able to include all of them in my larger pocket pages and knew I had to make this little album to document our summer using the 3″ x 4″ Summer Journaling Tags along with other coordinating tags and embellishments.
I pre-planned the cards that would go opposite each photo and strategically punched holes in each as I went along.
Once all the photos and cards were in place and glued together, I added them to a medium clasp ring. When I add to the album later, I may need to switch it out for a larger ring.
The next step was to go back through and add all the journaling and embellishments. This was the most fun. Using the Summer Stamp and Summer Puffy Stickers just gave each page a BANG!
Keeping the decorating simple made this project so quick and easy!
I had a blast making this little album and will be so happy to look back on this as the summer we spent in the pool!
