Our August Kit and add-ons are the perfect way to wrap up the end to your summer, along with those little details about getting back to school, or just celebrating everyday life during August! The kits versatility can really be shown by Andrea Gray, and we can’t wait to share what she’s created! Let’s take a look!
Hi, friends! How’s everyone wrapping up their summer? We are already back to school in real life, but in my documenting timeline we are on the edge of school being over for the year.
What I adore about the Elle’s Studio kits is that they are not overly themed and can be used any time of the year!

It was fun to find some “school” themed cards though, and I used the alphabet and pencils tags from the August 2017 Kit for a photo of Marshall in his class. I used the Stanley Alpha Outline Stamp to outline just the “M” on the card, for Marshall.
Also in this little quad of cards, I used the “something to celebrate” die cut on top of the “date, place, notes” tag and drew a wonky border around it and added my own “outline” to the white heart to add some fun!
Places to journal are never taken for granted. I love being able to document small stories with just a few sentences. To add color I used a yellow stamp pad with a slightly dry baby wipe to spread a quick yellow swipe over the title, and added a puffy heart sticker along with my journaling.
Some tags just need a stamp and a label and others don’t need anything at all! The Yes To This Stamp was perfect for adding those little touches to the yellow tag.
The Stanley alpha stamps in both the solid and outline get a lot of use. On this section of tags I used them to spell out the name of my car and used a label to document that he got a much needed bath!
There’s so much to enjoy about the August 2017 Kit tags and embellishments this month! Everything makes it so easy to dig into the week and get the details down.
