Hello ES fans! Today Alissa Fast is here to share that our kits aren’t just for scrapbooking! She has created some amazing tags with the new June shop items, and we couldn’t love them any more!
Hello! It’s Alissa here today to share a couple of tags that I created using the June Kit + Extras. I love giving handmade tags and cards with gifts, or gift cards, to those I love on their special days. Today I have a summer birthday tag and a fun 4th of July tag to share with you all. I hope you enjoy!
Supplies | June Kit, Happy Printables, Puffy Heart Stickers, Patriotic Stars and Hearts Mixed Acrylic, Tiny Star Stickers, Letter and Number Stickers – Black, Stanley Alphabet Stamp – Outline
All you need to add to your June kits + extras is a little stamp ink and a few shipping tags. I also added a little distress stain to add color to the shipping tag background.
To start, I added the distress stain to the shipping tag to add color to the background and let it dry. You could use watercolors, too. I cut the red lined star from one of the 3″ x 4″ tags in the June Kit. I wanted a large star element and this one was perfect!
I adhered one of the acrylic stars from the Patriotic Stars and Hearts Mixed Acrylic to the hole as reinforcement. Not that it actually needs it. It’s just cute!
I love the new Stanley Alphabet Stamps this month and the outline stamps were perfect to add to the title. I just stamped the letters on a patterned tag from the kit and fussy cut them out.
For the background, I enlarged the summer elements tag from the Happy Printables and printed it on an 8-1/2″ x 11″ transparency. I get them done at Office Depot!
