Sketch Thursday

Welcome to Sketch Thursday – Allie here sharing my take on this sketch based off of Jill’s layout. I love Jill’s layout and was very excited to be using a sketch based off of it!

I replicated the strips and stitching on the left side of the page, but added my own twist to to it. I used a square punch to create the blocks of patterned paper in the sketch. Breaking down a paper with a punch can make patterns seem less intimidating!

Products used: Sunny Days 12 x 12 paper collection, Bits and Pieces, Puffy Stickers, Stamp, Cutouts; Wood Veneer Camera; Elle’s Studio July kit.

I used the “Soak Up the Sun” paper for the majority of the background, then continued the look with the Sunny Days Stamp on the rest of the page.
