Fun with Patterns by Melissa Mann

Valentine_MM1Melissa is playing with pattens today and we are loving how she took a basic shape – the hexagon – and was able to create this beautiful, eye-catching layout!

Melissa says “I really, really love the colors in the “Love You More” collection and obviously, it was a perfect choice for this month of love!”

Valentine_MM3 “I cut out a bunch of hexagons from various pattern papers from the collection and layered them on top of the white card stock. I stitched each one down with my sewing machine and then I outlined them with the pink alphabet stickers. I then filled in some of the hexagons with photos, journaling, tags, and other embellishments.”

“Each of the photos that I used of my husband were all taken on our cruise to the Caribbean last February for our 10th wedding anniversary! It’s hard to believe it has already been a year since they were taken! Thanks for stopping by today and checking out my project.”
