Project Life

This week’s Project Life covers the week of January 28- February 3.

Although this was a busy week, I managed to keep my spread fairly simple.  I used pops of pink from the You & Me Collection throughout the layout- and loved how it turned out!

One thing I kept in mind while looking through the week’s photos was to search for themes found in photography.  There were some obvious themes– food photos, overhead photos.   But I noticed two events that were complete separate but tied together a wonderful theme.

I caught a photo of my son watching the high school basketball team and I had a photo of my daughter watching a dance solo at her ballet studio.   I loved the idea of putting these two photos side by side and touching on the fact they look up to other in the sports/activities they love.  Such a great portrayal of admiration.

The ration of iPhone photos to DSLR photos was 8:2.  It’s clear I am using my iPhone most of the time while documenting the everyday.
