Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! (a day late – so sorry about that!) This Christmas was a very busy and exciting one! I was involved with our church’s candlelight service and ended up working on it in the weeks and days prior to the event, so that would explain my absence! But, everything was wonderful and merry. Christmas day was great too, and so much fun watching everyone open their presents!!! I hope you all had a bright and merry Christmas too!

I’ve also been busy working on some valentine designs (yikes! I know!) and some other new things for the shop! So much fun in store for the new year – which is only like a week away, crazy!! I’m not sure how much longer I’ll keep the Christmas items in the shop, but probably until I’ve ran out of what I already have made and packaged. Which really isn’t much, so if you were thinking of getting something you might want to now, because once they are gone – they’re gone! I’m also starting to run quite low on the 2008 Ultimate Calendar kits too and once those are gone – they are certainly gone forever since I only bought a certain amount of the paper mache boxes that they go in.

And… just a reminder about the Flickr contest! WOW, the layouts are so awesome in there so far! If you’re looking for eye candy make sure you go check them out! And, if you have a layout that features any Elle’s Studio products, make sure to add them to the group! When you do, you’ll be entered to win something from the shop! I’ll be back on the 31st to post the winners 🙂

And the stockings were hung…

Just as the decorating was finishing up, snow started to fall! Unfortunately it has almost all melted now, but maybe it is a sign of things to come? Hope so!

The button wreath, above, is a little decoration I made for my mom last year with my stash of vintage buttons. If you look closely you’ll even see some vintage rhinestones! Love those so much! I even put a couple of my snowflake tags on the tree! A little paper fun added the perfect vintage touch.

I was playing around with my snowflake punch and found out that: snowflake punch + aluminum foil = FUN! These look much cooler in person, the camera didn’t capture the sparkle like I would have liked it to. They are fun and really, REALLY shine! Try it, it’s fun!

And… at the very last minute, I broke out the baker’s twine and strung a few of the snowflake tags, so fun and festive!

Christmas can come now and I’m so excited I can hardly wait!! I’ve got some extra special presents for people this year, how am I going to wait 2 more weeks to give them to them!?!?!

After checking her beautiful layouts out, it has put me in the mood to pull out last years photos, some tea, and my scrapbooking supplies! I love how she used Elle’s Studio products here and there, even cutting them out!! So much fun and details to look at! Make sure you click on each layout to check out a larger version of the photos! FUN!!! Thanks Amber, you are awesome and did an outstanding job!!

Halloween pictures!

There’s my little strawberry!! Isn’t she a cutie 🙂 We had fun on Halloween, I ended up taking her with me to a harvest festival. We had fun and she was a hit!

These were the cupcakes I baked for the harvest festival. Chocolate spider webs, big black icing spiders with orange and black sprinkles topped the vanilla and chocolate swirled cupcakes. They were YUMMY!!
