With summer right around the corner, we are very excited to announce that our next product launch will be debuting this Thursday, May 31st! This launch has to be one of my favorites so far! I am in love with the colors in the line, the fonts and elements used and how everything goes so nicely together. I am also loving how we mixed in everyday + summer, so for every set of tags there are tags for summer layouts, but also tags that will work with any other kind of topic! It is so versatile!

Also, for this next release, Jenni has cooked up something special, too! Are you ready to document your summer? Here’s a little sneak of the incredible thing she has coming:

We are so excited to start something brand new with our design team’s gallery each month! Remember those fun treasure hunts when we were kids? Well… we are bringing them back!

We’ll have around 20 questions each month for you to answer – all the answers can be found by going through our Design Team gallery. Some layouts you’ll have to look at the detail shots, or maybe even read the design team members description 😉 Once you have answered all the questions, you’ll want to email us your answers! My challenge for you today, and the final challenge of our website kick-off party, is to add some layers!!

One of my favorite things about Elle’s Studio tags is that they are so versatile.  One of the many ways they can be used on your layouts/projects is as a layering item.   For this challenge use anything– an Elle’s Studio product, pattern paper, photos, ANYTHING… and layer!

Layering can give your layout or project dimension.  It’s an easy way to “embellish”.  Whenever I feel that my layout needs something extra, I add a few layers!  For this layout I used the Noted Journaling Circle Tags, and the Handmade Layers Large Journaling Tags.

We will be randomly drawing one winner who completes the challenge and posts it at our new member gallery! After you have posted your layout to our gallery, please come back here and link us up to it.

Don’t forget, complete all six challenges (four challenges and two sketch challenges)and be entered to win the GRAND PRIZE of $100 Elle’s Studio gift certificate + our entire next release! For this layout I trimmed down an 8 x 10 photo and used the photo as my focal point. The Elle’s Studio products I used are: Noted Journaling Tags, Collected Note Tags, Pennants – Brights and Pennants – Turquoise.
