Contributing team member Melissa Mann created this gorgeous layout with our October kit. So many amazing details! The stitching, the embellishments – love it all!

For my layout, I cut out some of the elements for my title, layered several tags and papers and punched out fall leaves. It was fun and quick and I love how it turned out.
What have you made with your kits? We’d love to see 🙂
Hello Friday and Happy Weekend!
I love sharing projects from our Design Team Gallery each week with you and today is no exception! As Halloween is less than two weeks away, I thought it would be the perfect theme for today.
Welcome back! Today’s sketch was inspired by Annetteh’s lovely girl layout from this month’s DT gallery.
Last week’s randomly selected winner is… Tricia Romo!

Fall Break is upon us, and I know many of you will be traveling! I will often tell people that if they are considering the Project Life/ pocket styled scrapbooking method, start by documenting a vacation. It helps to have an “ending point” in mind as you put together your album. Vacations are perfect for pocket style scrapbooking!
We visited Walt Disney World in May of this year, and I have really enjoyed documenting this vacation using the Project Life method. Obviously, I am not documenting in a week-by-week method, but rather, focusing in blocked events and using Project Life page dividers to mark each day. This page documents our evening exploring the Magic Kingdom.
I decided to balance all the fireworks/evening photos by placing the Elle’s Studio “Love you to the Moon and Back” journaling card on the opposite page. The chalkboard effect in this card is a perfect balance to the darker photos on the opposite page.
We want to feature your Project Life album! During the last week of each month we will be featuring a couple Project Life spreads that caught our eye in the Member Gallery. We will be posting Project Life spreads on our blog tomorrow! If your spread is featured we will be sending you a $5 gift card to use in our store. Good Luck!
The leaves are displaying their beautiful hues, there’s a frost in the morning air, and the evenings end with snuggling around the fireplace. It’s FALL; my favorite time of year.
It means pumpkins, gourds, trick or treating, and spending time at home.
On a drizzly morning when all my kids were gone, I took a little walk around our yard and captured the “now”.
Our house has changed a lot since we bought it. We’ve remodeled, added on, and did a bit of landscaping.
I challenge you to capture your HOME at this beautiful colorful time of year.

This year we planted a bunch of pumpkins and gourds. We are loving having them on display around the yard.

Be sure your capture your front door. It’s then entry way into your Everyday Life and deserves a special spot in your album.

Don’t forget the details!

To capture this photo I actually got down on the ground. This angle creates that beautiful depth of field.
I used the October Tag Kit along with the brand new October Digital Cut Files to create my layout.
I hope you are inspired to get out and capture your HOME. Big, small, country, or city … capture your special place today!
Now go on … Get out and Capture Life!
