Hello friends! It’s Kim Chaffin, and I’m here with a pocket layout documenting our Easter this year. We had to put things on hold at the time because a family member had tested positive for COVID. This layout tells the story of the things we did for the holiday as well as the things that had to wait. Let’s take a look at the project!
The colors in this kit are perfect for telling spring stories. I just love the way these pinks and yellows and purples coordinate with my photos! As embellishments go, I kept it fairly simple. I’m a minimalist scrapbooker, and my photographs were already a bit busy. Still, I can never get enough Bright Puffy Asterisk Stickers! They tie the layout together, anchor die cuts, and add a fun pop of color.
I called this a pocket layout, but it is actually a mix between one large photograph and a page of pockets. I love to do this, because I can choose an eye-catching accent photo to enlarge, while still taking advantage of the ease of fun pocket tags for journaling. I typed my title directly onto my larger photograph before printing, and then I added accents from the May Kit. I love to use the die cut banners for stamping a date.
The pocket tag tells the story of my layout. I run these through my printer by adhering them with a temporary adhesive to a 4 x 6 piece of cardstock. You can actually print your journaling onto the 4 x 6 cardstock first so that you will know exactly where the words will be printed. That helps in placing the pocket tag exactly where it needs to be before you run it through and print a second time.
Pockets make a great place for memorabilia. The bottom right pocket photo is a screenshot from my daughter’s Instagram feed. It shares a photo from a sister outing that happened before the COVID diagnosis. I also had a fortune slip from one of their fortune cookies, which I added and accented with a Bright Puffy Asterisk Sticker. A few more May Kit accents and Puffy Asterisk Stickers, and my layout is complete! I can’t wait to see what you do with the bright sunny colors of this kit!

Hello, everyone! It’s Aurélie here today to show you what I’ve been creating lately with the Sincere Sentiments product suite. Truth be told, I have always loved a good mix-and-match challenge. So it goes without saying that I have loved seeing how far I can stretch these sets, creatively speaking of course.
I used a few design tricks for these cards. First, I opted to use one of my go-to techniques: hand-stitching. I stamped the small clusters in black, but made them pop a bit more by stitching over them with black thread.
I then channelled my inner Meghann Andrew and mixed and matched different fonts, both in type and size. Moreover, I placed the different fonts in such a way that the eye naturally follows the sentiment from top to bottom.
Finally, I wanted to make the ‘my day’ stand out even more so I placed a few crystal embellishments around it in a way that strengthened the flow of the sentiment placement.
By keeping all other design elements super simple, I thoroughly enjoyed finding new ways to use the Sincere Sentiments product suite! Sweet, indeed!
We can’t wait to see what you’ll come up with! Please share your Sincere Sentiments projects with us at our Elle’s Studio Facebook Group or on Instagram using the hashtag #ellesstudio.

Hello everyone! It’s Junell on the blog today and I’m excited to share a quick travelers notebook spread I created in my Life Crafted album using the Elle’s Studio May 2022 kit and extras!
Once I selected the two tags I wanted to use for these pictures, I decided to just go for the blue color in my layout. It’s such a pretty shade. I pulled out my Cool Solids Paper Stack and grabbed the same blue color to use as my background and also the darker cerulean blue to create an accent. I used a border punch to create the right side of my layout with more patterned paper from The Best Paper Stack.
I printed three pictures at 2 inches square and staggered them down the left side of the layout on top of the same patterned paper from the right side to coordinate them. I added die cuts and puffy stickers to each of the photos. Then, using the Photograph Stamp and the Photograph Metal Die I created little camera flashes to add a little more pizazz!
Hiya, scrappy peeps and Elle’s Studio fans! It’s Suzanna here today to share with you a travel layout that features the newly released Photograph Stamp and coordinating Metal Die. Not only is the stamp set loaded with great sentiments to record any photo, but there a few other bits such as a frame and label that make great embellishments. Pair it with the May 2022 Kit and your photos and the possibilities are endless!
This layout is a collage of key photos of our second day on a recent trip to Portugal. I edited the photos and arranged them in Photoshop to allow for the use of 2 x 2-inch squares from the stamp. I also knew that I wanted a large enough space for the 3 x 3-inch photo frame. There are TWENTY photos on this page!
The 2 x 2-inch frame stamp is just perfect, as you can customize the frame, stamping it in any color of your choosing. Yellow, coral, and blue are the color palette that I went with. I love how stamping yellow and coral frames provided additional color to the layout and really made the blue sky pop in the multitude of photos.
Using the starburst from the Photograph Stamp with its coordinating Photograph Metal Die is a great way to sprinkle an alternate shape and break up the rigidity of all the squares on the page.
While the title of the stamp set itself, Photograph, implies that one would use the frames to house photographs, I have so many photos on the 12 x 12-inch page itself that I utilized the stamped and die cut frames for the white space that they provide instead. The larger of the three frames opens like a book to hold additional journaling inside. The journaling scattered throughout the page includes facts about each place we visited, while inside holds more emotional journaling about my feelings of that very busy day.
The Photograph Stamp and Photograph Metal Die are so versatile! While I have used it for a travel layout here, I have also used it in my memory planner for everyday memory keeping, and on an Easter layout. The phrases in the stamps themselves have so many everyday uses, making it a staple for your stash!
Thanks for stopping in today, and don’t forget to share what you create using the Photograph Stamp and Photograph Metal Die by posting on Instagram using the #EllesStudio hashtag, or in our Facebook Group!

Hey, Elle’s Studio friends! It’s Wei Wei here today, sharing a traveler’s notebook layout. My project features the beautiful new May 2022 kit and add-ons, along with a few of the April add-ons.
To begin my layout, I chose a patterned paper from The Best Paper Stack to use as a base for the right page, I also trimmed a patterned paper sheet and adhered it to the edge of the left page. Next, I backed my photo with the May “spending all our time” tag and shipping tag cut using the Nesting Tags Metal Die. The Big Smiles Puffy Stickers worked perfectly with my photo. I really love this product!
Hello, Elle’s Studio friends, it’s Aimee back again with another pocket page layout, this time using the beautiful new May 2022 kit and extras! Stick around and I’ll walk you through my process!
Pocket pages are some of my favorite projects, however I find the weekly documenting format to be too demanding of my schedule, so I like to complete pages on a monthly basis instead. That being said, I often start off all of my pocket pages by creating a monthly title card—this is typically a 4 x 6-inch tag, but today I wanted to mix things up.
I stamped out “May” with the outline Medium Jane Alphabet Stamp and used the coordinating Metal Die to cut the letters, adhering them to the green, grid tag from the May 2022 Kit. Die cutting the alphas really adds the “pop” that the title needs and helps draw the eye. After having the monthly placeholder complete, I laid out my photos and journaling tags, making sure I had enough room to tell all my stories.
I love how the monthly kit tags prompt you to think of stories you might want to tell. For example, one of the tags prompted me to take a look at the past and compare it to the present while another tag prompted me to list three current truths. This makes journaling on layouts an easy and manageable task!
Now it’s time to fill in any gaps I might have from a lack of photos or journaling and I do this with the help of filler tags! Elle’s kits have a great ratio of journaling to filler tags and It’s always easy to find something fitting to fill in the empty spaces. The tags are beautiful on their own, but you can go the extra mile and embellish them a little further like I have here with the Bright Puffy Asterisk Stickers or just a few staples from your tiny attacher.
There you have it! I hope you enjoyed this peek into my process and it gave you some ideas for your own creative workflow. How do you get started with your pocket pages? If you’re not a subscriber to our monthly kits yet, I would encourage you to give them a try—they really make documenting a breeze!

This is Melissa with you here this morning and I’m super excited to share this mini book I made using the soon-to-be-released May kit and add-on products! Take a look at what you’ll find in the shop tomorrow to create with!
Supplies | Releasing tomorrow, May 10th: May 2022 Kit, Cerulean Blue Jane Alphabet Cardstock Stickers, Photograph Label Stickers, Big Smiles Puffy Stickers, Bright Puffy Asterisk Stickers, Photograph Stamp, Photograph Metal Die; The Best Paper Stack, Cool Solids Paper Stack, Love You Paper Stack
I really wanted to highlight the brand new Photograph Stamp and Metal Die that will be available this month. I decided to create a small brag book of memories that I’m going to gift to my mom as part of her Mother’s Day gift using pictures of her granddaughters.
I created the base of my mini book by using a Kraft paper bag that I cut down into smaller square and rectangular shapes. I used white and blue paints, color mists and inks to create my mixed media page backgrounds.
I topped off the mixed-media bases to create a fun, textured look using the Photograph Stamp and Staz-on ink on these pages before loading them up with pictures and embellishments!
Using the awesome Photograph Stamp and Photograph Metal Die, I cut photo frames using different Cool Solids Paper Stack colors and stamped on them.
I started layering the photos and the die-cut photo frames on my pages and used journaling tags, labels, puffy stickers, and more stamping to finish off each page.
I can’t wait to see how you are going to use your May goodies this month!! Make sure you share with us in our Facebook Group or by posting on Instagram using the #EllesStudio hashtag. Thanks for stopping by!
