Hi! This is Sabrina, and today I have a fall project to share with you using the October 2019 Kit and extras. Every year since my daughter was a toddler we have been taking walks around the neighborhood to collect leaves.
We just did our first walk of the season and I bribed my daughter to let me take some pictures of her with the leaves and those are the pictures I decided to document. I took my favorite one and I made it 4″ x 6″. This way I could cover the 6″ x 8″ side with patterns from the Home Sweet Home 6 x 6 Paper Stack. I staggered four papers from the stack around the photo and these papers also matched the colors of the leaves.
For the left side of my spread I decided to cut down several journaling tags from the October 2019 Kit to fit in the 2″ x 2″ pockets. The journaling tag with orange stripe was a scrap from a previous project, and I knew I could still use it. I decided to stamp some phrases from the Everyday Tabs Stamp. I wound up ‘messing up’ on a stamped phrase, so I used some cardstock to fussy cut two of the phrases to add dimension to the card and fix the mistake. It was a perfect cover up!
To finish off my spread I used my last two Wood Veneer Leaves, Autumn Puffy Stickers and Thankful Stickers. Little clusters of stickers and fun goodies really bring this spread together! This is probably one my simpler spreads, but I think the adorable photos don’t need much embellishment.

The first thing we notice about Ingunn’s memory-keeping projects in pockets and traveler’s notebooks are her amazing photos, then the subtle and perfect ways that she highlights her cherished memories with product placement. We knew that her style would be perfect with our October kit and extras, and we think you will agree! Let’s take a look at her first project of the month!
Hi everyone! I’m excited to share my first project using the October 2019 Kit and add-ons with you today. Like most of the human population, I love fall colors (and candles and cozy pumpkin-spiced sweaters or whatever), and I definitely love documenting our adventures finding those colors.
I decided to make a 6″ x 8″ spread for this short, but happy little family hike. I love the exhilarated smile on my daughter’s face, so I turned that photo into a full 6″ x 8″, and printed three additional photos at 3″ x 4″ with a 50 pixel-wide white border. I loved the yellow journaling tag with the big ampersand from the October 2019 Kit—in my head that always means “together”—so I ran it through my printer to add journaling, then cut off the bottom, and rounded two corners.
I adhered the journaling tag to the 6″ x 8″ photo using adhesive foam, and glued down a couple of those gorgeous Wood Veneer Leaves “falling” down behind it. I wanted to keep that feeling of falling leaves floating onto the other side of the spread, so I cut down a piece of vellum to 3″ x 4″ and glued more leaves onto that to slide into my pocket.
There are some leaves of that same design on the Autumn Puffy Stickers too, so I added some of those around the wood veneer leaves to add a bit of color. I also put a “yum” puffy sticker on the picnic photo and the “family fun” puffy sticker on top of the ampersand to add contrast.

My name is Ingunn and I was born and raised in beautiful Norway, but now live in the equally beautiful Washington with my husband, two little girls, and our Italian greyhound. Hello, friends! It’s Meghann with you today. This past weekend, I celebrated World Cardmaking Day by creating a big bunch of cards, and it felt so great to get creative on an A2 scale! I used some of the newest goodies from the ES shop, including the Good Times Stamp to create two fun card designs, and I’d love to share them with you today!
There are so many creative possibilities with the Good Times Stamp, and I created two very different card backgrounds here! My first card was is a birthday card, and I used the fun border from the stamp to create a column of color on the left side of my card using pink, purple and black ink. This set my color scheme and also gave me a great base to add my sentiment!
My sentiment was created using the “happy” word from the Happy Moments Puffy Stickers and added a Die Cut Label below stamped with the Hazel Alphabet Stamp to add the word “birthday.” Below that I added a simple “love you // xoxo” in purple ink using the stamp. I love that this stamp includes both sentiments and illustrations—it’s the perfect stamp for cards! I wanted to add a bit more embellishment and different textures, so I grabbed my Puffy Star Stickers, then added a few plus signs using black ink and the Good Times Stamp! A sweet and simple card made in minutes!
Is anyone else in love with these mandala circles like me? I just want to stamp them in every color! On my second card, I stamped them overlapping in purple, teal, yellow and black hues first, then added a coordinating heart in three circles. The jewel-toned Die Cut Labels came in handy again here, and I added a black one using dimensional adhesive for a bold pop of contrast in the center, stamped with “thanks” using the retired Thank You Stamp in teal. Below, I used those very handy sentiments from the Good Times Stamp again to add “// this was the best.” With all of that color and texture created using the mandala stamp, I didn’t need much embellishment—just a few enamel dots to coordinate with the background colors!
I had so much fun creating these two beautiful cards using the Good Times Stamp, and I hope you’ve been inspired to ink up your stamps and share some handmade kindness today, too!

Hold the press! we’ve just seen our first Document December 2019 Kit project! @our3littlepumpkins just couldn’t help but create a pocket page when her kit arrived, shown on the left, and we think it could not get any better! Take a cue from her and use our Document December products to document Christmas memories in the past, not just this year! Since we spotted one of our newest products using the hashtag, we also had to feature a project from one of our loved retired collections, Let’s Eat, used on the right by Tiffany! Food is such an important part of our lives, and something to record in our albums! We love this page, Tiffany!

Our latest September kit and add-ons stamp, Good Times, is sure to be a favorite in your stash, and we’d love to show you five creative ways that you can use it on your papercrafting projects this weekend!
Use the fun border to delineate between paper and cardstock, like Jennifer McMurtrey did on this layout. Make it bold using black ink, or more subdued with any color in your stash!
2. Get inky around the stamped mandala circles, like Daniela did on this beautiful layout! We love the way that she coordinated her ink colors with the patterns found in our Home Sweet Home 6 x 6 Paper Stack on the left side of her page!
3. Stamp your phrases in a round! We love this clever idea from guest designer Sarah Zayas, and with clear stamps, it is easy to do! Simply apply them to your acrylic block in a curve, ink and stamp!
4. Mask the circles to overlap each other. This amazing technique was achieved by Tracey Fox. She stamped the circles on scrap paper and cut them out to create masks, which she used to give the stamped mandalas a three-dimensional effect on her page background. Check out her blog post for full details on this technique!
5. Mat a favorite photo using stamps to draw attention! Steph Grimes did this here using the mandala circles in beautiful colors that coordinated with her 3″ x 4″ tag from our September 2019 Kit on the right! It puts more emphasis on her large, sweet doggy photo and brings the color across the spread.

Hi everyone! It’s Daniela here with a brand-new layout. I guess you all know situations with your kids, family or friends that always make you laugh. Maybe it’s a certain habit, a saying that’s typical for somebody or a simple gesture. With people we know so well, it often doesn’t take much to create these funny situations. I could name so many habits of my kids right away that make me smile each and every time. And I have to admit I love their tomfoolery and that’s exactly what my layout is about.
To highlight my son’s craziness, I wanted to use a big title, so I went through my Large Jane Alphabet stamps and spend some time on deciding which set to use because they are all so awesome in so many ways. I decided to work with the Stars to fill the Outline. So here it goes, this is my layout about my crazy little boy:
The cool thing about using stamps to create a title is that you are so flexible—you can create a title in any color you want. I really wanted to use wine red to have a title matching his vest—the only strong color in the pictures. I never had any alphabet stickers in this color, so I used wine red ink to fill the black outline of the stamped alphas. I was so happy to find perfect pieces in the same hue in my September kit and add-ons. The heart patterned paper from the Home Sweet Home Paper Stack and the Puffy Autumn Heart Stickers come in such a pretty wine-red.
Since I only used one main color on my layout, I wanted to have some interesting tiny little eye-catchers here and there. I’m still crazy about the Good Times Stamp so I stamped the plus sign all over the page in black ink. The stamps build a nice contrast on the white background and add a special messy touch.
Sometimes it doesn’t take much color to create a fun page. Clusters in wine red, black and white and grey are the main elements on my page. This color range is quite unusual for me, but I really like the way the layout turned out. I often tend to use black and white picture if I feel that the colors in the picture might be challenging. But I also want to document common outfits, toys and so on in their vibrant colors, so why not use a very simple color scheme on a layout instead of washing color out of the pictures.
