Hiya scrappy peeps and Elle’s Studio fans! It’s Suzanna here today to share with you a layout featuring the Gold Puffy Alphabet Stickers from this month’s release. Did you pick up a set? Or two perhaps? I’m going to keep my fingers crossed that there are still some in the shop and grab myself another pack or two. YES, they are THAT good! You really will need more than one pack—trust me!

One of my favorite ways to use alphas is what most of us use them for, title work. I love trying to come up with creative titles rather than just the standard “Beautiful” or words frequently found in collections. It’s not an easy feat, finding an aptly suitable title for a project. This layout’s “title” is actually a quote relevant to the season and subject. I interspersed the Gold Puffy Alphabet Stickers with different stamped words to highlight the quote.
Given the dominant use of the Gold Puffy Alphabet Stickers on the right hand side of the page, there needed to be a sprinkling of the same on the left hand side of the page in order to balance the page out. I was able to do that in several different ways. First, as seen in the photo below, I incorporated another word into a phrase. This turned the “Let’s Get Together” in the 3 x 4 pocket tag from the December 2021 Kit to “Let’s get together & sing”.
Another way to incorporate the golden shimmer for balance was to use the periods, which look like small square nail heads to me, as bullet points for my who, what, when, where in another of the pocket cards. The asterisks serve as embellishments, similar to the colored Puffy Asterisk Stickers, also available this month. Sprinkled about the twinkle light photos as they are, they really pull the whole layout together.
I’m guessing that there aren’t many of these alpha stickers left in the store so if you haven’t already grabbed one, be sure to pop over and add it to your cart before they disappear!
If you are so inclined, be sure to head over to my personal YouTube channel for a process video of how this layout came together. When you use these many letters to create words and phrases, you run out of those critical vowels, e’s in particular. You will see in the video my substitutions for e’s, as well as how I cut apart other letters to create those necessary.
