Being prepared to give a last-minute gift or send a friend a holiday card is important during this busy time of the year, and today Candace Perkins is sharing how to create two sweet and simple, yet merry and bright holiday greeting cards—ready for whenever you need to make someone’s day this season!
Hello Elle’s Studio friends! I am so excited that the holidays are on the way! With the holidays comes the need for lots of cards. Going into December, I like to have a good stash of last-minute cards to add to any gift. Using the ‘Tis the Season 6 x 6 Paper Stack and November extras I created two cards for my stash this year. Take a look at the two fun holiday cards!
Supplies | Holiday Puffy Stickers, ‘Tis the Season 6 x 6 Paper Stack
For the first card, I started by cutting various papers from the ‘Tis the Season 6 x 6 Paper Stack into 1 inch squares. I then laid out the squares across the white cardstock front and arranged them in a good mix of patterned and plain colored paper. I decided to pop a few of the squares up with dimensional adhesive to add a bit more interest. I love the pattern that this created on the card and how it looks like a Christmas quilt! For the sentiment on the card I used a sticker from the Holiday Puffy Stickers, creating such a cute card! I can’t wait to pair it with a thoughtful gift for a close friend or family member.
For the second card, I started by cutting three papers from the ‘Tis the Season 6 x 6 Paper Stack into two inch squares. I then cut coordinating papers in small strips to add to the tops of the squares to mimic the look of a wrapped gift. I also die cut papers to create a bow for the top of each gift. I love how these little gifts look! I placed a small Holiday Puffy Stickers under two of the bows to embellish the gifts a bit more. I can’t get enough of these little gifts! I popped each box up with dimensional adhesive and added a cute puffy sticker sentiment to the bottom of the card. Simple and cute!
I love this cute little set of holiday cards. What holiday cards will you create with the November 2019 Kit and add-ons? Create a little stash of cards so you are all ready for the holidays! Thanks for stopping by!
