Hi friends! Happy first day of spring! This year my sister and I taking over hosting duties from my mom for our family Easter celebration. I am excited but also a little nervous! Although Easter is three weeks away, I have already started planning the menu and the table decor. Specifically, I made these little treat bags that double, not only as sweet dessert for both kids and adults, but also serve as a place card! Super cute, these bags are easy to make and only require three supplies. Have a look!
Supplies | Tiny Blank Label Stickers, Teal Puffy Alphabet Stickers, Springtime 6 x 6 Paper Stack
I selected the multi striped pattern paper from the Springtime 6 x 6 Paper Stack, and I just love the pastel colours with the change of season. Swoon! Using my handy dandy paper trimmer, I cut 2″ x 3″ strips of paper and then cut a triangle on the bottom of one end. I did this 8 times as we have 8 guests coming for dinner.
From there I added small details to the banners. Using the Teal Puffy Alphabet Stickers, I placed the first letter of the guests’ name onto the Tiny Blank Label Stickers. I just love these type of delicate touches to any place setting or treat bag.
Next, I filled wax paper bags that I picked up from my local craft store with Cadbury Mini Eggs. For fun, I placed the blue, green, yellow and pink eggs in a ombre pattern. This was perhaps the longest part of the crafting process, but the real test was trying not to eat all the mini eggs! Ha! Finally, once the bags were filled, I simply stapled the banner on to the treat bags. One job complete!
These quick & easy Easter treat bags came together in no time which is good as I now have to research the best way to cook a ham! Happy crafting!! Happy Spring!
