We have to take both the good and the bad that comes with real life, so why not document it, too? Suzanna Stein is here today, to share a new pocket page spread that she created to document her chronic illness, and she used the April 2018 kit and add-ons, as well as the new Noteworthy collection to add a bit of color to her not-so-great memories. Let’s see what she created:

For this layout, I wanted to create another set of pages for my autoimmune album. The cheerful and bold colors in this kit were perfect for documenting this particular story!
Each of my photos on this layout comes from a different day. I was focusing more on the overall story, than the dates the photos took place. For this reason, I didn’t worry too much about adding a date to each of them, I just noted that they are from 2018.
After embellishing my photos, I went back in and started choosing the tags that would accompany them.
This “Here & There” tag from the is April Kit one of my favorites – the space on the bottom of the tag was perfect for a little title stamping.
I made sure to have two cards that would be specific for journaling. The first tag has the bulk of my journaling, where I share my thoughts on the story. On the second tag, I did a bullet point-style list where I wrote a little note about each of the photos in the layout, and added the numbers with the Noteworthy Puffy Stickers.
I love the way that the details tag turned out! That yellow grid patterned tag is subtle, but still gives a pop of color and interest, and I added the stamped “details” word from the Noteworthy Stamp.
I really love the way this layout turned out and the fact that I was able to use these bold and bright colors to document real life (sometimes not-so-great) moments—I like to think it makes those moments a little brighter and happier!
