We just love Jen Schow’s process videos, and this month, her mix of product on her “Kind of Friends” layout is truly inspirational, so we are excited to see how the layout came together below.
Hey there! It’s Jen Schow here to share a layout I created using the March 2017 Kit and extras. I love the bright, springy colors of this kit and knew I wanted to use some outdoor photos for this layout. I chose a few of my daughter teaching my nephew how to play nice with our cat, Ariel.

I decided to make a sprinkling of circles and stars down the left side of my layout. I used the Vellum Sentiments, tissue paper circles, Acrylic Stars, Puffy Star Stickers, and the little confetti stamps included in the Happy Birthday Stamp.
I created a photo mat with some 6″ x 6″ papers from the Sunny Days collection as well as a 3″ x 4″ tag from the free list tags that come with all purchases made in March! I used the new Teal Puffy Alphabet Stickers, as well as the Friends Acrylic for my title.
You can see how this layout came together in my process video below. I think this design would work really well for birthday layouts as well – just add some strings to the bottom of the circles to turn them into balloons! You could even stamp some balloons using the Happy Birthday Stamp. I hope you’ll give something like this a try on your next layout!
