Christmas is my absolute favorite time of the year! One of my Christmas traditions is to make a batch of my all time favorite cookie recipe: “Holiday Butter Cookies”. I started making these when I was in highschool and every year when I bake them, I always forget just how delicious they are until I pop one of them in my mouth! I found the picture I had taken last year when I made a batch for our Christmas family get-together and decided to create a layout featuring the recipe of these fabulous cookies!
Supplies used: Joyful paper collection, Joyful Bits and Pieces, Joyful Journaling Tags, and Letters & Number Stickers – Red.
I based my layout from the Bonus Sketch included in the most recent “From Sketch to Finish” class. I was honored to be a contributor to this edition that Elle’s Studio published and loved the opportunity to create another layout using one of these sketches. I have always been a fan of using sketches to create layouts and usually stick pretty close to the sketch. The only thing I modified on this sketch was to include a 4×6 journaling card above my picture to include my recipe!
