Hello friends! I love the ‘Tis the Season collection and have had so much fun using it. I adore the traditional colors mixed in with the beautiful pinks and greys! Today I challenged myself to create a non-Christmasy layout using this collection.
To create this page, I focused primarily on red, white, pink, and grey. I used a photo from the beach and the family acrylic to inspire the theme of the page. I cut into the grey patterned paper and stitched it on white cardstock to create a focal point for my layout. I used white gesso on top of the pattered paper to tone down the background a bit. Next, I backed my photo with a few layers of vellum for extra dimension!
Once I had my photo down, I pulled red and pink items from the Tis the Season die cuts, as well as the Everyday Labels Puffy Stickers in pink. I also used the washi tape sheets! I kept the layout pretty simple by confining the embellishments to directly around the photo. This is a great way to balance out a busy background!
