Welcome to the Elle’s Studio blog post today. It’s Daniela here to share a card I made based on the October Exclusive Mini Kit course. It’s a fun course and I learned so many new things. One of the things I learned, that I incorporated into this card, was embossing and watercolor techniques that Joy uses. It is such a fun and easy technique that I haven’t thought of, but have all the supplies on hand. I basically followed her exact instructions. Stamping and heat embossing the feather from Tradition stamp and then using watercolor pencils to color in the feathers. I love this technique.
I die cut the tag, that is included in October Cut Files, from white cardstock and then I created a shipping style tag by stamping one of the elements from Tradition stamp. It’s pink in my photo (at the top of the tag where the twine is tied through) on the white tag. I was so excited when I read about that and wanted to make a tag for the card. Now I can have a tag whenever I need one to match any project. I layered several tags and bits and pieces from the October Kit and added some paint splatters.
As I was reading the class I was coming up with many ideas in my head about what I wanted to create next!
