This is my last time on the blog as part of the Elle’s Studio design team, and I want to take this opportunity to say what an honor it has been to create together with you! I have loved showcasing such fun and beautiful products. Let’s take a look at what I’ve made using the December 2022 Kit and extras.
Supplies | December 2022 Kit, Let it Snow Die Cuts, In The Mail Stamp
I’ve created a layout to summarize our family’s holiday experiences that occurred in November. I made a grid of eight photos on a 10 x 8-inch page by sizing them each at 2.5 x 4-inches. The facing page features one large 10 x 8-inch photo.
I love to make a fun title that really makes an impact by embellishing digital words. Here I used a Let it Snow Die Cut snowflake and the “Favorite Time of Year” banner die cut from the December 2022 Kit.
It’s easy to create unity within a layout by repeating elements. I’ve included a banner and snowflake on the facing page for that purpose. The phrase “arrived just in time” from the In The Mail Stamp provided exactly the sentiment I wanted to express my readiness for the holiday season.
A journaling block was created by adhering a strip cut from a coordinating December Kit pocket tag to the top of my printed words. I rounded the two left corners and placed the right side flush with the right side of my large photograph.
As I’m placing my embellishments, I often adhere them using pop dots to add dimension. I love the way this layout creates a wrap-up of November festivities. I’ve loved creating with you here, and I look forward to continuing our creative paths together in the future!
