Document December 2022 Prep with Michelle Flynn

Hi friends! I’m so excited to document the holidays with you this year! It’s Michelle here, and I have my lovely Document December kit and add-ons organized and my craft desk is looking as merry as can be! I’ll be working on my 2021 6 x 8-inch album and starting to prep a traveler’s notebook-sized album for this year so I thought I’d share how I’ve started prepping for 2022!

I really want to keep it simple this year. I want to have fun, but I also want to finish, so I’m setting realistic goals and focusing on what I want to document. I love documenting a few of my favorite things during the holidays so I started there.

The 4 x 6-inch joy, love and peace pocket tag was definitely the perfect opening for this layout. I trimmed it down to a 4 x 4-inches and added that sweet little tree die cut along with a die cut at the top and stamped using the December Grid Stamp.  I’ll use the 4 x 4-inch pocket below that for a photo. On the right side, I thought it would be so fun to use the new 4 x 6-inch six Pop-up Frame Metal Die sideways as a place to document my favorite things within each frame.

I backed it with the Twinkle Paper Stack. I used the amazing chipboard numbers from the Document December kit for each section, adding little embellishments to each pop-up flap. I used my favorite attacher metal die to finish it off. The last thing I did was make a little tag insert using the Christmas Die Cut Tags.

I added a few sentiments, and done! I definitely want achievable goals this year and the Document December kit gave me such a great place to start. I’m so excited to document the holidays with you and I can’t wait to see your inspiration and creativity shared with us this season!
