Hi, everyone! Happy Document December season! It’s Diane here, and this, by far, is my favorite time of year to document, and today I am going to share a little bit of my process of preparing to document the month of December with the Document December kit and add-ons!
My very first step is always to decide on the size of album I want to complete. This year it is once again a 6 x 8-inch album. It’s definitely my favorite size to document these memories in. I considered going larger since this will be our very first Christmas with our grandson, but in the end, I decided to stay with this size. Next in my process is to grab all of my supplies—new and old, and do an inventory of the products I have. I always place my new kit in an organizer so that it will be front and center!
Once I looked at all of the Document December products, I grabbed a notebook and started writing down the dates that I know I have something going on, and I made a list of the things I want to make sure I get documented. There are events that get documented every year, like decorating the tree and all of our Christmas decorations, and then there are new events and special memories like celebrating our grandson’s first Christmas that I want to make sure I have a space for.
Last in my process, I started playing with all the fun products in the kit! I will usually make some foundation pages to help me out when the month gets busy. I love just playing and creating and seeing what comes from that quiet time before the holidays hit.
