Hello there Elle’s Studio fans! It’s Suzanna here today to share with you a large photo layout featuring the Thin Labels Stamp and coordinating Metal Die. If you know me, you know I’m all about large photos and labels. Labels, labels, and more labels! You can never have enough labels. This new stamp means you can make custom labels to coordinate with whatever color palette you want. And, this means an even wider selection of options in combination with the existing Star or Heart Labels Stamps!
Supplies | September 2022 Kit, Cerulean Blue Jane Alphabet Cardstock Stickers, Autumn Chipboard Stickers, Tiny Autumn Hearts and Stars Puffy Stickers, Thankful Paper Stack, Typewriter Alphabet Stamp, Thin Labels Stamp, Thin Labels Metal Die
I used a thin strip of the multi-color striped patterned paper in the Thankful Paper Stack as the foundation of the color palette for my layout. I then stamped and die cut a variety of the size and “format” of the Thin Labels to coordinate. There are inverse rounded corner labels and diagonal corner labels available to select from in various widths and heights.
Should you care to set out on a similar endeavor these are the inks that I used, in order from top to bottom: Distress Oxide (DO) Fired Brick, DO Spun Sugar, DO Spiced Marmalade, PinkFresh Studio Peach Fuzz, PaperPerson Goldenrod, DO Bundled Sage, DO Rustic Wilderness, DO Faded Jeans.
The title of my layout “Currently Enjoying” is the top of a 3 x 4-inch pocket tag from the September 2022 Kit that I fussy cut, then the title continues to “@ 49”. Each label contains a tidbit of information about something I’m enjoying in the last few months of being 49 years old.
For some visual interest and texture, I added color-coordinated puffy hearts or stars from Tiny Autumn Hearts and Stars Puffy Stickers. The Thin Labels Stamp also has tiny heart and star stamps (classic Elle’s Studio!) and a few words. I used the date stamp for one label as well as a black stamped heart to add the black contrast to a label for movement down the layout.
There are so many great things you can do with stamps—label stamps in particular! If you already have these amazing stamps and use them, be sure to tag us #EllesStudio on Instagram, or post in our Facebook Group!
