I wanted to put an emphasis on the awesome game-themed products that are available this month and to be honest, I probably never would have scrapped these family game night photos if it hadn’t been for these products. One of our traditions during family holidays is to play games: Taboo, Monopoly, Uno, Dutch Blitz, Scrabble… you get the idea!
To start my project, I layered a bunch of patterned papers from the Adventure Paper Stack horizontally across my cardstock and then I stitched those papers down with my sewing machine. I used watercolors in green and yellow and layered these on the top and bottom of my patterned paper. I loved the little game board stamp in the Game Time Stamp and stamped this on the bottom and top of my layout.
One of my other favorite items from this release is the Pocket Tabbed Metal Dies. I cut out five of these on various cardstock from the Cool and Warm Solids Paper Stacks and then trimmed them down to fit my small 2″x2″ photos. I layered these across my layout on top of the patterned paper. Each tab was stamped with a sentiment from the Photograph Stamp.
I had a big block of white space underneath my photos and decided to lay down a bunch of the Coral Cardstock Label Stickers. I then further embellished the stickers by using the Game Night Die Cuts, Cool Puffy Heart and Star Stickers, Summer Cardstock Stickers, and the Sky Blue Cardstock Basic Shape Stickers. I really loved how this embellishment block turned out.
Lastly, I cut out the word “FUN” using the June 2022 Cut Files and then used the cerulean blue Jane Tile Alphabet Cardstock Stickers to create the word “FAMILY” to finish off my title.
I really love how bright and fun this project turned out! I can’t wait to see how you guys will use these new products. Also, I had a goal to use at least one of every new thing that is available and I *almost* achieved that! There are only a few things from this release that I did not include on my layout.
