Hey, Elle’s Studio friends! It’s Marsha here today, and I’m excited to share a fun traveler’s notebook spread! I used the June kit and add-ons to create this star-filled layout documenting my family’s 4th of July celebration.

I began by choosing a few patterned papers from the Good Times and The Best Paper Stacks to use on the layout. I wanted to keep to a red, white, and blue color scheme for this patriotic spread. I used the Outlined Stars Metal Die to cut out lots of stars from different patterned papers and had fun mixing and matching them across the spread. To create the title, I used the Large Star Jane Number Stamp, Jane Alphabet Stamp, and outline , Medium Jane Alphabet Stamp, along with red and navy blue inks. I also included some puffy alphabet stickers in Sky Blue and Navy. I love this mixed stamp and puffy sticker title! I also included an arrow die cut from the June 2022 Kit and backed it with a blue patterned paper so it would stand out from the white background.
I adhered my photo to a tag from the June Kit and created a pocket by adding adhesive to three sides of the tag. Next, I added my typed journaling to another tag from the kit, trimmed it into a tag shape, and slid it into the pocket behind my photo. I also used a bit of patterned paper from the The Best Paper Stack and a mini staple to create a little tab on the tag. This is a great alternative to twine or ribbon on a layout and it allows you to use more of the gorgeous patterned papers!
The Outlined Stars Stamp was perfect for adding lots of stars and star bursts to the spread using different shades of blue ink. I also included stars from the Cool Puffy Heart and Star Stickers and the Sky Blue Cardstock Basic Shape Stickers. To complete the layout, I added a few stickers from the Big Smiles Puffy Stickers.
