Favorite Things Memory Planner with Michelle Flynn

Hi friends! It’s Michelle, and I’m so excited to be with you today to share how I’ve used the February 2022 kit and add-ons to start the new year in my memory-keeping planner! I am still new to this style, but I am just having so much fun using my monthly kit and my stamps to record the little moments of each day!

I started with the beautiful Jane Tile Alphabet Cardstock Stickers to spell out the month.  Isn’t that fuchsia color just perfection?! I used the sweet Gold Heart Paper Clips to hold my pages together from the intro page. I was really loving the “a few of my favorite things” pocket tag from the February Kit, so I trimmed it down and adhered it to the pink February Label. That was my initial inspiration, and it gave me a starting point to begin documenting some of my favorite things this month using the fabulous new Icon Tab Stamp! This stamp is absolutely a new favorite, and I can already tell how much I’m going to be using it in all my memory-keeping projects, including this memory planner!

I really love Elle’s Studio stamps for so many reasons—did I mention the hearts? Besides those signature and adorable hearts, the other reason is they allow me to create and build my own titles and I get full use from all of my favorite stamps. I wanted a title across both pages so I combined a few stamp sets to do this in a fun way. I started with the amazing new Icon Tab Stamp, Love Notes Stamp and the Currently Stamp. I continued carrying my title across both pages using a few other favorites from the Title Builder Stamp collection: the original Title Builder Stamp and the Title Builder Volume 5 Stamp.

The Monthly Numbers Stamp is so perfect for all types of memory keeping, and a necessary staple for memory planners! I reach for it again and again and I used it here to number each day accordingly. I then moved on to selecting some of the simple photos I wanted to highlight, as my intention for these two pages was to focus more on my daily notes than photos. Once I selected the photos, I grabbed my Heart Label Stamp and the Love Notes Metal Die to make a few mini frames for some of the tiny photos using gray ink. I then used those fun February Labels again and trimmed them to peek out of a few of the photos, which I just love.  Note: It would have been super cute if I’d used those as mini pull-out elements from behind the photos, but I didn’t think about it until after! There’s always another layout, right!?

I continued adding a few additional touches using die cuts from the February Kit along with the Grid Circle Cardstock Stickers and even used the last of my Summer Label Stickers, too! I love combining and using my new products along with those in my stash! I continued with journaling notes and more stamping using the Icon Tab Stamp, the Winter Tabs Stamp, the Make a Wish Stamp, and the Daily Tabs Stamp. I wrapped up this month of highlights with more journaling to the right, along with a fun little personal goal grid at the bottom!

I’m still just a few months into this style of memory keeping and I’m loving this time to explore and play with my kit and stamps in this way and to document all the small bits of life! I hope you’ll pull out your kit and your stamps and see how much fun it is to use them in your memory planner! Thanks for being here today and sharing your time with me!
