A Scrappy Christmas with Katarina Prevendarova

Hi, friends! It’s Katarina back with you again. Before you get to see the gorgeous December reveal tomorrow, I will share with you a project using scraps from my November 2021 kit and add-ons!

Supplies | November 2021 Kit, November Labels, Date Label Cardstock Stickers, Holiday Fun Stickers, Jane Tile Alphabet Cardstock Stickers – Red, White Parker Alphabet Cardstock Stickers, Puffy Heart and Star Stickers, Magical Acetate Circles, A Merry Moment Stamp, Monthly Numbers Stamp

When you have just a bunch of scraps left of your kit, one of the best techniques to use is to cut your scraps to geometrical shapes and combine them on your layout as I did here in my traveler’s notebook. This way you can add multiple colors and patterns to create an interesting look.

I cut the journaling tags from the November Kit to squares, triangles and circles and even cut some of them to halves. Then I combined them with die cuts from the November Kit and November Labels that I used for my journaling. I also added a puffy star from the Puffy Heart and Star Stickers.

I used A Merry Moment Stamp to repeat stamp on one of the squares to create some more interest.

On the left side of my spread, I used a full page photo of me unboxing my Christmas present. Every year my best scrappy friend and I send each other boxes with some yummy scrappy surprises. I really love this tradition and wanted to have it documented.

I created a cluster on the bottom left of my spread, combining a die cut from the November Kit, one of the November Labels and a Date Label Cardstock Sticker which I used to stamp the date using the Monthly Numbers Stamp. The Magical Acetate Circles are one of my favorite products and the one saying “tradition” was just a perfect addition to this cluster.

For my titles, I used a combination of red Jane Tile Alphabet Cardstock Stickers and White Parker Alphabet Cardstock Stickers. One of the journaling tags that I cut into pieces had a sentiment “This was awesome” and I couldn’t leave it out. It went under my title finishing my spread.

I love how this traveler’s notebook layout came together and love that this memory is forever documented!
