A Winter Week in Pockets with Nicole Kerr

Hello, ES friends! It’s Nicole here and today I’m sharing my Week 50 spread in my 12 x 12 inch pocket page album. The December 2021 kit and add-ons work beautifully to create holiday spreads and winter themed spreads too! For this week, we had a little bit of both: a winter storm paired with holiday cookie baking and preparations!

Supplies | December 2021 Kit, Bright Star Journaling Tags, Wintertime Vellum Stickers, Full of Joy Chipboard Stickers, Puffy Asterisk Stickers, The Merriest Puffy Stickers, Holiday Fun Stickers, Red Cardstock Label Stickers, For the Record Stamp, Winter Tabs Stamp, Title Builder Vol. 5 The Merriest Stamp, Parker Outlined Alphabet Stamp, Parker Alphabet Stamp, Parker Number Stamp, Parker Outlined Number StampParker Number Metal Die, Parker Alphabet Metal Dies, From Sketch to Finish Vol. 6 Stamp

For my title card, I used the Parker Alphabet and Parker Number Stamps in both the solid and outlines paired with the coordinating dies to create the “WEEK 50.” I also used the “season of” stamp that can be found in the Title Builder Vol. 5 The Merriest Stamp, and paired that with the puffy sticker “comfort” from The Merriest Puffy Stickers to create the sub title “Season Of Comfort.” Lastly on this card I used the Puffy Asterisk Stickers and also the arrow stamp from the For the Record Stamp, which has to be my current favorite accent stamp! I also used a few die cuts and a Red Cardstock Label Sticker as accents on other photos.

I absolutely love the countdown sticker from the Wintertime Vellum Stickers and found that to work perfectly on the photo of my boys playing in the snow! I also added a “fun” puffy sticker to my filler tag and a few more die cuts and Puffy Asterisk Stickers.

For my journaling tag, I used the red Bright Star Journaling Tag and layered the block stamp from the From Sketch to Finish Vol. 6 Stamp. I also layered two heart die cuts with a red label and “holiday treats” stamp from the Winter Tabs Stamp and a grey Puffy Asterisk Sticker.

Lastly, for my 4 x 6 inch cookie photo, I felt that because it was so busy, it needed a place for my eye to rest. I used the blue Full of Joy Chipboard Sticker and adhered it to the center of my photo. I love how this blue ties into the small touches of blue through the spread.

Thank you so much for joining me today! Be sure to pull out your winter and holiday photos, past and present, and document your memories with the December 2021 kit and add-ons!
