Hey! Who’s ready for the new year? It’s Junell here on the blog today sharing my layout using the December 2021 kit and add-ons. I’ve actually been thinking about the new year a lot lately, so when I saw the Happy New Year tag I thought it would give me the perfect opportunity to document my intentions for next year. Resolutions are so 1999! It’s all about intentions now.
Supplies | December 2021 Kit, Bright Star Journaling Tags, December Labels, Black Cardstock Label Stickers, Wintertime Vellum Stickers, Grateful Chipboard Stickers, Gold Puffy Alphabet Stickers, Parker Outlined Alphabet Stamp, Parker Outlined Number Stamp
Let’s get started! Honestly, this layout came together quite easily. I started with the Happy New Year tag from the December 2021 Kit and wanted to balance it with the other tag in the kit that also featured a colorful garland. The Bright Star Journaling Tags were just perfect as homes for each of my intentions. I numbered the tags using the December Labels.
Once I got all my tags into position, I created my title with the Parker Outlined Alphabet Stamp and the Parker Outlined Number Stamp. I also did a little journaling about how I like the idea of intentions rather than resolutions.
Then, I had fun playing with all the little extras like the Black Cardstock Label Stickers, the die cuts from the main kit, and the Gold Puffy Alphabet Stickers to embellish the layout and make it look like a festive New Year’s party and to get myself pumped for another new beginning!
Have you thought about documenting your intentions on a layout? What do you call them? How do you feel about them? I’m curious! Let us all know by sharing in our Facebook Group or on Instagram by using the #ellesstudio hashtag! Cheers to 2022!
