Hello, Elle’s Studio friends! It’s Candace here with you today to share a project using the August Priorities Printables. I LOVE working with digital files—they allow you to customize cute Elle’s Studio products to match the style and colors of your projects or spreads.
Here is a look at the pocket page layout I created using the fun printables:

One of the first things you can edit within a digital card or embellishment is the elements. I adjusted the elements on the “you are doing great!” tag in the center of the spread, which includes yellow stars and sentiments. I knew I wanted to use the the yellow “summer” Chipboard Tag on the spread so I needed this card to be a different color. I also knew that all my photos were taken during the day, therefore the stars didn’t match the theme of the spread. Customizing the tag was so easy! I simply imported the tag into Photoshop, erased the stars on the background using the eraser tool and used the eye dropper tool to copy the blue on the stripe card. Simple and customized!
Another thing you can edit on a digital tag or embellishment are the colors. I loved the aqua color on the striped tag and wanted to bring it to another tag on the spread. Using the eye dropper tool, I picked up the color from the striped card and used the paint bucket tool to color the tag. I love that color! With the new aqua color, the lines behind the tag looked a bit busy for the design of this layout. I again used the eraser tool to erase the lines. Now I have a fun, aqua tag that I was able to add my journaling to!
You can always chose to leave a digital design as-is and change up the material you are printing on! You can print the digital elements on cardstock, glossy photo paper or even vellum! You can take the designs but change them up by adding a variety of textures and layers to your projects.
