Documenting Adventures with the Let’s Go Traveler’s Notebook Kit

We are SO excited about our first ever Let’s Go Traveler’s Notebook Kit, which released with our new May goodies! This kit is perfect for documenting everyday and far away adventures, and today design team members and traveler’s notebook documenters Candace Perkins and Andrea Gray are sharing what they’ve created with the kit so far! Let’s see what they created:

Candace | I can’t get enough of the adorable Let’s Go Traveler’s Notebook Kit! It has all you need to create fun and colorful spreads about travel or the everyday! I was inspired to tell a lakeside story about one of boys, and a staycation spent with my husband.

Supplies | Let’s Go Traveler’s Notebook Kit

For the first spread, I used the “Oh, the places we go!” paper that comes in the kit to create a pocket on the left side. I cut the paper on an angle and stitched it down to make a home for my journaling on the tags.

On the right side of the spread, I printed a full page photo of my little guy and added a small embellishment cluster on the lower right corner using the Let’s Go stamps, stickers and labels. I like creating interactive spreads within my traveler’s notebook. It is so fun to turn the pages and pull out the little elements and details!

For my second spread I wanted to create a fun pattern using the hexagon die cuts. Using one of the hexagon die cuts as a template, I cut additional shapes out of the paper in the kit. Next, I arranged the die cuts on the left side of the spread, I choose to pop some of the shapes up on dimensional adhesive to create a little more interest. I also tucked a few of the sticker sentiments around the hexagons along with the hearts and stars.

For the interactive element on this spread I created a custom vellum page. I added a tab to the vellum page for ease in turning (and cuteness!). On the right side of the spread, I printed a collection of 2″ x 2″ photos from our staycation and tucked a few die cuts and stickers around the photos.

I love that all the embellishments and papers match so perfectly and I can create individual spreads or a full traveler’s notebook album!

I can’t wait to see what you create with the amazing Let’s Go Traveler’s Notebook Kit! Have fun!

Andrea | Hooray for the brand new Let’s Go Traveler’s Notebook Kit for us TN girls! The papers, labels and stickers are perfect! Due to the travel theme of this kit, I knew it was perfect for documenting my trip to PlannerCon2018 with Suzanna, my fellow Elle’s Studio design team member.

Supplies | Let’s Go Traveler’s Notebook Kit, Hazel Alphabet Stamp, Noteworthy Bits and Pieces

I layered a few of the long labels across the left page and used some of the word strip stickers for a bit of easy journaling. The navy blue cardstock alphas were perfect for adding my title under my photo.

The opposite side of this spread started with the “favorite stops” paper, where I used the new Hazel Alphabet Stamp to fill in the fun journaling sections. This stamp set accompanies the kit so perfectly, and the smaller size is made for traveler’s notebooks!

I had a blast using this kit and the colors are a wonderful combination of bold and muted!
