Documenting Love in Pockets with Andrea Gray

Hello there sweet friends! Today I am sharing some pocket page inspiration using the January Kit + extras! There are so many fun little products in the shop this month that I decided to use the page protector with twelve 2″ x 2″ squares, so I could show them all off!

Since this month’s kit is all about love, the theme of this page is my love for I Love Lucy. I’ve had several little random photos from the show that I wanted to use and this kit was PERFECT for documenting them! The tiny pockets hold the lovely banners, arrows, hearts and die cuts from this month’s new product selection in such a perfect way!

Simple, white cardstock created the perfect clean backdrop to make black and white photos from the show and colorful embellishment pop against the page, like the fun, patterned banners and die cuts from the January 2018 Kit.

The “My #1” die cut from the Love You Die Cuts was perfect for this spread, and I paired it with a simple journaling tag from the same pack, which I stamped with “so much goodness” from the From Sketch to Finish Vol. 3 Stamp.

This small bit of blue pattern in the bottom corner was one piece of a visual triangle of blue color on my spread. I simply topped it with a Hand Drawn Acrylic Heart and the “meant to be” die cut from the January 2018 Kit.

On the right side of the spread I used 3″ x 4″ journaling tags from the kit as the base for each pocket, as well as my favorite Lucille Ball quote, completed with the “love” puffy sticker from the Hugs and Kisses Puffy Stickers.

I had so much fun working with all of the beautiful colors and embellishments new to the shop this month to make this layout!
