Summer “Camping” Adventures with the July Kit + Extras!

Hey there ES fans! It’s Meghann Andrew with you today. I’m not much of a camper myself—I’d consider myself a “glamper” instead—but when given the opportunity recently to have all of the fun of camping, minus sleeping outside in a tent, I was ALL for it, and I documented the fun with some of the new items in the July release in a pocket page.

I based the color scheme of my double-sided layout from my favorite tag in the July Kit that I was determined NOT to hoard! The best part is, a similar tag can be found in the Love This Life Printables, so I felt more comfortable with using this lovely 3″ x 4″ tag as a filler, simply topping it with a die-cut heart and the “let’s eat” Summer Puffy Sticker.

Eating outside next to a bonfire and roasting marshmallows evoke all the best memories of summer for me, and I decided to use the negative space in my 4″ x 6″ photo to add the “love this life” digital image from the Love This Life Printables.

On the back, I continued the same color scheme. Remember that I said the same beautiful sunset-colored stripe can be found in the Love This Life Printables? Well, I sized it from a 3″ x 4″ tag to a 4″ x 6″ tag, placing it right in the center of my page.

After printing it out, I topped it with a 3″ x 3″ photo of my dinner, a favorite of ours when we visit the U.K. each summer, and stamped “fish” using the Stanley Alphabet Stamp – Outline and “chips” using the Olivia Alphabet Stamp. I used the Everyday Circle ampersand sticker with some dimensional adhesive and added a few Summer Puffy Stickers to the right. I couldn’t stop without adding “the best” below my title using the Love This Life Stamp.

The 4″ x 6″ red-stripe tag was cut in half to create a 3″ x 4″ tag, and I added my typed journaling along the side. To embellish it a bit, I added the die-cut star circle from the July 2017 Kit, as well as the “love” and “this” Everyday Circle Stickers to the side with dimensional adhesive.

I love that the sunset photo on the bottom right matches the color scheme for this double-sided page, and that I’ve captured so many of my favorite summer foods and memories on one page!
