We were so inspired by Nancy Damiano’s colorful layout this month. We love that she paired the beautiful colors in our new Live Laugh Love collection with her sweet black and white photo!
We were so inspired that we decided to create a sketch based off of her layout.
Michelle Wedertz was up for the challenge to create a new layout based off of this sketch. Let’s see what she created!

I was pretty excited when I saw that the sketch was based off of a layout by Nancy- I always find her projects super inspiring and I couldn’t wait to get my project started! When I sat down to make my layout I knew I wanted to keep as close as I could to the sketch and only made a few minor changes. I cut down a 12″ x 12″ piece of patterned paper from the new Live Laugh Love Collection and used that as my background. To make a big contrast against the black and white, I used two colorful sheets from the Live Laugh Love 6″ x 6″ Paper Stack to serve as the backdrop to my black and white photo. To create my title, I used one of my favorite tags from the exclusive April 2017 Kit and embellished it a little with some machine stitching in a fun blue color. The lines on the purple patterned paper made journaling my story with my typewriter easy, and I finished the project with some simple embellishing. Thanks to the sketch and the inspiration from Nancy, my layout was created in no time at all! I love it when that happens!
