Good Morning, everyone! This is Melissa with you here today with a new layout using the brand new ‘Tis the Season Holiday Collection! I do love a good holiday collection and this one is fantastic! The color scheme is a traditional one with pops of pink and grays and I just LOVE it 🙂
Products used: Tis the Season 12 x 12 paper, 6 x 6 paper, Frosted Acrylic Shapes, Stamp, Washi Tape, Bits and Pieces; Letter & Number Stickers – green, and Malia Alphabet Stamp.
I really wanted to highlight those great frosted acrylic shapes and created a layout that had a small grid in it where four different pieces would be able to stand alone. I hand-cut some scalloped pieces to place under my picture and grid and stitched those down with my machine. And I’m LOVING the new Malia stamp set (Alphabet and Numbers) that was released with this collection! I want to use it on everything!! I stamped my title underneath everything, ran my sewing machine back and forth directly underneath it, placed a small tag underneath that and lastly, I stamped the word “tradition” at the very bottom in black ink.
I am so ready for the holiday season to start and creating this layout kicked it into high-gear! I can’t wait to see what everyone will be creating with this fantastic new collection!
