Hi there! It’s Meghann here today, and I’d love to remind you about an awesome set of products in the Elle’s Studio shop, the Travelogue mini collection, and share a new layout with you.
“Boston Here and Now” supplies | Travelogue journaling tags, Travelogue labels, Travelogue stamp, tab die, Sunny Days 12” x 12” collection pack, Sunny Days 6” x 6” paper stack, Sunny Days bits and pieces, Sunny Days puffy stickers, Sunny Days stamp.
When paired with the Sunny Days collection, this travel-focused set worked perfectly to document a special moment on a trip my family took to Boston last fall. The brighly colored buoys in the background of my photo worked perfectly with the bright colors in the ES tags and embellishment. The aptly named Sunny Days Adventures woodgrain paper provided the perfect neutral pattern for my background behind my photo, and allowed the colors in my photo to pop. I simply die-cut the word “Boston” on the left side of the paper, adding the “here and now” journaling tag to the center, between my title and photo.
Using the colors found in my photo, I selected small tags from the Travelogue labels and the Sunny Days bits and pieces to layer on top of the manufacturer’s strip from the Sunny Days Documented paper, popping a couple of the tags up with dimensional adhesive. I also added small embellishment from the Sunny Days puffy stickers as well as enamel dots to colorblock around the tags.
I kept the remainder of my embellishment simple, adding stamped words, the Sunny Days bits and pieces “favorite photos” tag, washi tape, a flair badge and a Sunny Days puffy star sticker. To add the date to my page, I used the tab die to cut a date tab from the Sunny Days 6” x 6” paper stack yellow pattern.
I’ve loved using the Travelogue collection to document my family’s adventures! What travels, whether future or past, can you document with these beautiful products?
