Sunny Days Inspiration by Meghann Andrew

This week we are highlighting our brand new Sunny Days collection with projects and inspiration from our Design Team!

We are so excited to have the Sunny Days collection in the shop! It’s perfect for documenting those hot days, cool treats and happy kids! It’s Meghann Andrew with you today, and I love working with this new collection. I had a perfect summer photo of my daughter from our vacation last year that I just had to document using Sunny Days, and I’d love to share it with you!

I chose to create a grid layout with my photo and these awesome squares, which came from one piece of patterned paper, More Sunshine, included in the 12” x 12” paper collection. Atop these squares, I layered die-cuts from the Sunny Days cutoutsSunny Days wood veneer and Sunny Days puffy stickers.

To break up the grid and add details to my layout, I grouped tags, stamped with the Sunny Days stamp, cut from the Lil’ Snippets labels, and cutouts.

At the top of my page, I added the Soak Up the Sun paper to add some interest to the background, without distracting from my photo grid. At the top right of my page, I added the fun puffy sticker banners in both the warm and cool tones. Directly underneath, I layered patterned paper from the 6” x 6” paper stack, a blank label, and my title, which I stamped in multicolor with the Marie alphabet stamp, then added the pink letter stickers.

This simple, colorful and fun layout came together in no time, and I can’t wait to get more summer moments documented in my album with this collection! Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to tag #ellesstudio on your Instagram posts so that we can see how you’re using Sunny Days to document your summer memories!
